Alfa Laval, headquartered in Lund, Sweden, has received a $9.5 million order for oil-treatment modules for a German diesel power plant project.

The customized module for diesel engine builder Man Diesel & Turbo SE in Augsburg, Germany, includes Alfa Laval products that remove fine particles from the oil to ensure proper engine operation. Separators remove residues and water from the heavy fuel oil and heat exchangers heat the fuel to maintain the required viscosity before it enters the engine.
