Although the exact location of the facility has not been announced, Luvata plans to establish operation in Monterrey, Mexico, in a 50,000 to 60,000 ft2facility to coil manufacturers in that area. Luvata hopes to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2013, and the company estimates that 40 to 50 employees will be needed for operating the facility at full capacity.
The new facility in Mexico joins Luvata’s two other full service coil-coating centers in Louisville, Ky., and Jacksonville, Texas in offering the factory applied corrosion solution as well as the spray applied coil corrosion protection product.
