A paper mill is using a recycle-water system from CVN Vooner
Paper Machinery, Greeneville, Tenn., to supply cooler water to the seals of vacuum
pumps. The eco-friendly system assists the facility in improving vacuum
dewatering.
The system includes a cooling tower and
Osprey gravity strainer to allow the mill to recycle water with ease. According
to mill managers, what stood out about the new system was that it was “easy and
inexpensive to install.”
