An Indonesian brewery has placed a $7.5 million order for delivery this year with Alfa Laval for a range of products, including heat exchangers.

The project, an integrated beer cellar, is a complete solution for the different steps in the beer-making process, such as fermentation, cooling, filtration, blending and storage. The order includes several heat exchangers from Lund, Sweden-based Alfa Laval, plus the company’s pumps, valves, filters, mixers and tank equipment. Additionally, the project includes Alfa Laval’s new eDrive high speed separator, and brewery process modules, instrumentation and engineering.

According to Alfa Laval, more than 60 percent of the global beer market is related to four brewing companies and all are its customers.
