Spectronics Corporation has introduced the OPD-500 Dual-Max - a cordless, multi-function, dual-headed LED flashlight that is ideal for refrigerant leak detection and component inspection in all types of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

This powerful unit features a high-flux blue light LED on one end for fluorescent leak detection, plus a high-flux white light LED on the opposite end for general component inspection.

Compact and lightweight, it weighs a mere 5.8 oz (164 g) and can even fit into a shirt pocket! Powered by three “AAA” batteries (included), the lamp has an LED life of 100,000 hours. Fluorescence-enhancing glasses for use with the blue light LED are included to make all refrigerant leaks glow brightly.
