A Canadian corporation has awarded Alfa Laval, headquartered in Lund,
Sweden, an order to supply newly developed equipment for cleaning industrial
wastewater. The order from CCS Corp., one of the largest oil and gas
environmental service companies in North America, consists of specially
developed Alfa Laval decanters to be used for large wastewater reclamation
operations. The order from CCS, based in Calgary, Alb., is valued at $6.5
million.
“These newly developed Alfa Laval decanters are based on our proven decanter
technology and can handle very large amounts of industrial wastewater,"
says Lars Renström, Alfa Laval Group's president and CEO.
According
to Alfa Laval, one of its decanters can process enough industrial wastewater
per day to equal two Olympic size swimming pools.
