The philanthropic arm of Crane Co., Channahon, Ill., donated more than $140,000 in August to communities in Channahon; Goshen, Ind.; Florence, Ky., and Jonesboro, Ark., communities. Actively involved in charitable organizations year-round, Crane Composites, a Crane company, prioritizes supporting the community.

Donations were made to organizations such as the local YMCA, Red Cross, United Way and Salvation Army. All donations were issued by the Crane Fund for Widows and Children, which provides direct assistance to underserved populations.

Crane Composites, which manufactures fiberglass-reinforced polyester (FRP) components for cooling towers, among other products, retains over 550 employees at the Goshen, Channahon, Florence, and Jonesboro manufacturing facilities.
