ACMA Approves PRI as Third-Party Lab

In April, the Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) approved PRI Construction Materials Technology LLC, as its third-party testing laboratory for AMCA 550.

Parties interested in being tested by PRI do not need to contact the Arlington Heights, Ill.-based association regarding test scheduling at PRI. Instead, visit AMCA's website for PRI’s contact information.

AMCA 550-2009, Test Method for High Velocity Wind Driven Rain Resistant Louvers, establishes uniform laboratory test methods and minimum performance ratings for water rejection capabilities of louvers intended to be used in high velocity wind conditions. It is available as a download or can be ordered as a printed copy at www.amca.org.
