Rebuild, Repair for Cooling Tower Gearboxes

The Geareducer Solutions program offers cooling tower users rebuild and repair options for cooling tower gearboxes.

With the program, technicians from SPX Cooling Technologies Inc. can repair an existing gearbox or rebuild a gearbox at the company’s plant in Olathe, Kan. Rebuilds use only Marley OEM components. With repairs, an SPX technician will use factory-designed tools, dies and jigs to repair the unit to meet all OEM performance specifications. After reassembly, all Marley Geareducers are factory dyno-tested under full load prior to shipment to ensure it is running at the rated torque and horsepower.
