Temperature control systems maker ACS Group, Schaumburg, Ill., has hired Jim Holbrook as its new president.

Holbrook comes to ACS with experience in global engineering and manufacturing companies. He spent more than 20 years with the Emerson Electric Co., St. Louis, Mo., with the last 11 years in division president roles for the controls and motor businesses of Emerson. After his time at Emerson, he worked as the general manager for the ITT North American Residential & Commercial Water business. Most recently was president and CEO of Ramu Inc., a venture capital funded startup that was sold to Regal Beloit.

ACS Group manufactures systems and products under the brand names AEC, Sterling Products Inc., Cumberland Engineering, Colortronic North America, ACS Group Walton/Stout, Wabash, Carver and Economizer.
