Sweden-based Alfa Laval has acquired Niagara Blower Co., a manufacturer of energy-efficient niche heat transfer solutions headquartered in Buffalo, N.Y.

Engineered to order, wet surface air coolers manufactured by Niagara Blower are suited for use in the oil and gas processing industries as well as applications in the power, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

According to Alfa Laval, the acquisition adds new and complementary products to its offerings, including the air-cooled heat exchangers that strengthen the company’s position in the oil and gas processing industries.

Alfa Laval plans to integrate Niagara Blower into the segment Energy & Environment, within the Process Technology Division.
