Ceco Environmental Corp. has completed its acquisition of Met-Pro Corp., Harleysville, Pa. Met-Pro provides product recovery, pollution control, fluid-handling and filtration solutions. Met-Pro brands include Dean Pump, Fybroc, Sethco, Keystone Filter and Mefiag Filtration According to Ceco, the acquisition expands the company’s leverage in the petrochemical, refinery and industrial manufacturing segments and provides access to new markets that include the food processing, semiconductor and pharmaceutical sectors. Shareholders from both companies approved the deal on August 26, 2013.
