Food manufacturers looking to remove heat from their processes and improve product quality, throughput and shelf life can see live demonstrations at Process Expo 2013 in Chicago from November 3-6. From its booth, Air Products will demonstrate the benefits of using liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide for food processing applications, including process cooling and food freezing.

Air Products will have a team of food specialists on-hand to help food processors determine how liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide can improve their food processing operations. The company can also test a customer's product on commercial-scale equipment at one of Air Products' food laboratories in the United States, Europe and Asia to determine the feasibility of using cryogenic freezing or chilling for their specific process.
