Bydrain liquid-expansion traps are designed to defend against pipe freezing. The trap can be installed on the equipment itself or positioned downstream of the equipment to be drained, making it accessible for inspection and maintenance. It also can be placed at the end of pipes, at low points or any area where liquid could be stationary. The stainless steel trap continuously monitors the temperature of the pipe contents.
