More than 2,300 copies of the TDH Calculator mobile app have been downloaded since its introduction in August 2012, according to its developer, Rain for Rent, Bakersfield, Calif.
Designed to simplify common calculations used for determining pump selection, the TDH Calculator app is can be used to accelerate complex calculations and the decision-making process for engineers, field operators and technicians across multiple industries.
“I discovered Rain for Rent’s TDH app while I was searching for information about friction loss,” said Gerry Herman, civil engineer. “It helped me make a preliminary decision on an upcoming project, and it was so easy to use that I highly recommend it to my engineering colleagues.”
The app is available as a free app via iTunes and will be released for Android operating systems.
