U.S. Water Services Inc., St. Michael, Minn., and Dallas-based ChemCal Inc. have merged.

According to U.S. Water, the merger enables the water treatment company to expand its national footprint in mid-market industrial water treatment. A water treatment and equipment solution provider, ChemCal serves the mid-southern United States.

The merger provides U.S. Water with geographic access to a territory prominent in oil and gas, a key growth segment for the future.
