Heat transfer fluids provider Dynalene, Whitehall, Pa., has two ongoing Pennsylvania Infrastructure Technology Alliance projects with Lehigh University. On one project, Dynalene is working with the chemical engineering department to improving cryogenic separation of water from heat transfer fluids. On the second project, Dynalene is working with the Bethlehem, Pa.-based university’s Center of Advanced Materials and Technology on high temperature corrosion studies of molten salt-based heat transfer fluid used for concentrating solar plant applications.

 A Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development program, PITA is a collaboration between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Center for Advanced Technology for Large Structural Systems at Lehigh University, and the Institute for Complex Engineered Systems at Carnegie Mellon University.
