Safety-relief valves are a requirement in most, if not all, pressure-containing applications and are a mainstay in industrial refrigeration. The valves provide overpressure relief, keeping the system, equipment and personnel safe. The company’s cartridge safety-relief valve is designed to reduce maintenance time and costs while ensuring system safety. The valve allows the operator to change out the cartridge while leaving the piping system intact. This process, when used with a manifold product change-out, can be done in minutes. The valves are available in five configurations: CSR1, CSR2, CSRH1, CSRH2 and CSRH3. The configurations can provide capacities from 130 to 1,173 scfm (air) and have connections from 0.5 to 0.75”. Pressure settings are available from 150 to 400 psig.
