Home » Type N Thermocouple Wire Offers Repeatability, Resistance to Oxidation
Type N thermocouple wire provides better repeatability and resistance to oxidation than Type K wire at high temperatures (1500°F and above) or in applications where sulfur is present. The thermocouple wire meets special limits of error from 200 to 2000°F. The nickel-based thermocouple alloy has improved repeatability between 700 and 1100°F (370 and 593°C).
