The EX3 electronic expansion valve developed by St. Louis-based Emerson Climate Technologies, received honorable mention in the refrigeration category for the 2015 AHR Expo Innovation Awards. The EX3 is a stepper-motor-driven electronic expansion valve that provides precise mass flow control and high energy efficiency for cold rooms with multiple parallel evaporators and supermarket showcases.

Also, Emerson Climate Technologies promoted Rajan Rajendran to vice president, system innovation center and sustainability. Rajendran is responsible for overseeing the Emerson Innovation Center through its construction and launch as well as leading operations after the center opens on the University of Dayton campus in late 2015.
