The makers of new evaporative condensers for industrial refrigeration that debuted today at the 2015 IIAR Conference and Exposition promise to deliver quality components and construction, responsive service and ease of installation. SGS Refrigeration Inc., Dixon, Ill., and SPX Cooling Technologies Inc., Overland Park, Kan., designed the Marley Cube Series to include forced- and induced-draft evaporative condenser models. Though jointly designed and produced by SPX Cooling Technologies and SGS Refrigeration at their manufacturing plants, the will be marketed by SGS Refrigeration through its network of sales representatives.
Features of the Cube include galvanized steel structure and casing; bolted or welded submerged areas; self-draining, clog-resistant water distribution system; and stainless steel construction options. Induced draft models include a Marley Geareducer drive; triple-pass inlet louvers to control splash out and sunlight exposure to the basin; a dual U-bolt fan hub design to reduce de-pitching and vibration potential; and TEFC fan motors.
