Cooling Fan Safe for Explosive Environments
Ametek Rotron’s cooling fan is designed for use in indoor or outdoor installations where sufficient concentrations of flammable gases, vapors or dust are present. MIL-901XP meets UL, NEC and ANSI standards for equipment that will not create an ignition source in explosive environments. It has a rated life in excess of 200,000 hr and an ambient operating temperature range of -64 to 158°F (-54 to 70°C).
Fan Blade Design Increases Airflow and Reduces Noise
Horton’s computer-optimized fan blade design provides increased airflow and reduced operating noise. The swept-blade design of the WindShift WSE generates greater static pressure at slower speeds, making it suited for industrial and power-generation equipment. The blade contains UV-stabilized materials with high glass content. The modular fans are available in diameters of 24 to 41” (610 to 1040 mm) and 2.44 to 5.94” (62 to 151 mm) pitch widths.
