Our annual Cooling Capabilities bullet chart on system chillers is in this issue, but did you know it also appears on our website? In fact, every one of our five Cooling Capabilities charts produced during the year is also online, where you can do advanced searches.

Take this issue’s system chillers, for example. While keeping the print version on-hand is easy for a quick reference, going online also is easy, and many companies have links to their websites for more information.

Head online to try Process Cooling’s updated searchable database of manufacturers of system chillers. In just a few clicks, you can expand or contract your search results simply by adding or removing categories by which to search. (Click on the plus signs to the left of each main heading, listed in the upper left, to add or remove compressor types, condensing methods or fluids processed.) Hyperlinks are provided to some manufacturers’ websites, and complete contact information can viewed at any time.

For instance, I arbitrarily checked off several items and found myself asking for companies that provided certain compressor styles, heat exchanger materials, process fluid capabilities and industries served. After a few clicks, up popped more than a dozen companies capable of supplying the equipment I “designed.” Clicking on any company name that shows up in response to a query gives the name, address, phone, fax, web address, and the full list of capabilities in the lower right. The Cooling Capabilities chart on system chillers also includes details on each company’s tonnage capabilities with rating conditions and temperature range. This data is only included in the online version of the Cooling Capabilities chart.

During the year, these bullet charts and their corresponding searchable online electronic versions appear for your benefit. They are as follows:

And finally, remember to say “Process Cooling sent me” when you contact a supplier you found either on our print or online pages.
