"Design of Ammonia Refrigeration Systems for Peak Performance and Efficiency" will provide attendees with system design and operating practices. Presented by the University of Wisconsin in Madison, the course is planned for September 14-18.

The course agenda includes ways to:

  • Increase your understanding of ammonia refrigeration design principles and practices.
  • Learn techniques to properly lay out and size system components.
  • Gain hands-on experience working in a team to design a built-up ammonia refrigeration system.
  • Learn best practices for designing safer systems.

The university also will host courses on process hazard analysis on September 23-25; an introductory course for ammonia refrigeration systems on October 14-16; principles and practices of mechanical integrity for industrial refrigeration systems on November 4-6; and an Intermediate-level course on ammonia refrigeration systems on December 2-4.
