Valve Contest in China Shows Refrigeration Valve Longevity
A customer competition seeking the oldest Danfoss AKV in China has shown that even after 14 years, the company’s AKV valves are going strong.
The electric expansion valves are designed for refrigeration plants preserving freshness and taste of frozen food. Danfoss China organized the “Finding the oldest AKV” contest. The winning valve was produced in Denmark in the 2000 as number 500 in the AKV Series. The valve travelled to China and was installed in a store in Shanghai, where, 14 years later, the valve won the competition.
