Electronic Valve Reported to Increase Industrial Refrigeration System Efficiency
An electronic valve provides improved control and flexibility by offering application-specific modulating plug designs and user-definable control speeds. According to the Refrigerating Specialties Division of Parker Hannifin Corp., increased product lifecycles are achieved by using a stainless steel housing that is designed to hold up even in extreme operating environments.
The PEV (Parker Electronic Valve) is comprised of two main components: a valve body and actuator. An increased operating range makes it suited for applications that require an increased pressure range such as CO2 refrigeration. The actuator portion is sealed to IP67, making the device suitable for use in the extreme environments of industrial refrigeration applications. The actuator portion can be removed for service, leaving the valve installed and under pressure.
