The 2016 IIAR Industrial Refrigeration Conference and Exhibition brings together manufacturers showcasing their latest industrial refrigeration products, services, innovations and technologies with decision-makers and technicians from the process industries and design/build companies attending the event to meet, network and learn. The 2016 IIAR Conference and Exhibition will be held at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando on March 20-23.
At the core of the four-day program is the technical program. The regular technical program begins on Monday, March 21. The presentations include peer-reviewed technical paper presentations, experiential workshops and interactive panels. Presentation topics range from global refrigerant trends to determining pressure drop through valves. There will also be an international program with paper presentations in Portuguese, Spanish and Mandarin. All technical papers presented in English will be offered with simultaneous interpretation in Spanish, and all international language presentations will be offered with simultaneous interpretation in English.
On Sunday, March 20 at 1 p.m. ET, IIAR will host a half-day technical course on IIAR 2 - Standard for Safe Design of Closed-Circuit Ammonia Refrigeration Systems education program. The educational program presents a unique opportunity to learn from the industry experts who contributed to the revision of this standard. The presentation includes an overview of how the updates will impact plant and equipment design as well as regulatory compliance expectations. IIAR 2 is the benchmark safety code standard for the safe, reliable and efficient design of ammonia refrigeration systems.
Also beginning on Monday, March 21, the exhibition will play host to manufacturers displaying industrial refrigeration system products and services. Attendees can see first-hand some of the industrial refrigeration technologies they’ve learned about elsewhere. Each booth will be staffed with engineers experienced with ammonia refrigeration to help attendees learn more about exhibitors’ capabilities.
