Design 95 fans are rated with a maximum fan efficiency grade (FEG) of 90 in accordance with the Air Movement Control Association (AMCA). AMCA’s FEG evaluates an industrial fan’s peak mechanical efficiency relative to its wheel diameter, and a rating of 90 is the highest in the industry. High ratings correlate with lower horsepower motors and reduced energy costs. The preengineered, backward-curved wheel design withstands applications such as industrial dust collectors, thermal oxidizers, and forced- or induced-mechanical draft.
