Multifunction Valves Can Be Used for Ammonia Refrigeration Retrofits
Two multifunction control valves that can serve as replacements for most conventional mechanical, electromechanical and electronically operated valves will debut at IIAR. The annual meeting of the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration will be held March 20-23 at the Caribe Royale All Suite Hotel & Convention Center in Orlando.
Danfoss will introduce their new ICF valves for retrofit applications at the show. They consist of one valve housing and a maximum of four or six function modules.
In other company news, Danfoss seeks entries for its seventh annual EnVisioneer of the Year award competition. OEMs and design/build firms that have opened a new facility or invested in a system upgrade in the past 18 months using Danfoss products to realize energy and environmental savings are eligible.
