Evapco Receives Certification Program Performance Award

Industrial evaporators from Evapco Inc., Taneytown, Md., earned the company a Certification Program Performance Award from the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).

Evapco achieved a 100 percent pass rate for the industrial evaporators tested during the three-year period of 2013 to 2015 as part of the certification program’s annual thermal performance re-verification tests. The company’s SST-B Series of industrial evaporators offer thermal performance and power ratings certified in accordance with the AHRI Standard 420, "Performance Rating of Forced-Draft Circulation Free-Delivery Unit Coolers for Refrigeration."

AHRI Certified programs test and certify the performance of industrial cooling and commercial refrigeration equipment and components to ensure that manufacturers’ performance claims are accurate and rated uniformly.
