Cortec Corp., which manufactures vapor-phase corrosion inhibitors (VpCI) for the packaging, metalworking, electronics, water treatment, and oil and gas industries, is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2017.

Founded in October 1977 in Hugo, Minn., the company today comprises a network of multiple plants, laboratories, warehouses, licensees and hundreds of distributors. Cortec’s VpCI’s allow dry, more environmentally friendly methods of corrosion protection for multi-metals.
