Container Corporation of India (Concor) is developing a cold storage facility for onions and other perishable produce in Lasalgaon.
This facility will have a total capacity of 2,500 metric tons, out of which 1,500 metric tons will be exclusively utilized for onion storage. The remaining capacity will be available for other perishable commodities such as pomegranate, grapes, bananas and tomatoes. The cold storage will benefit local farmers.
