According to a report, Akron City Council voted to approve the sale of 1.4 acres to Country Pure Foods for a warehouse expansion.
The company plans to invest $6 million to create an additional 24,000 ft2 of cold storage for its juice products. The expansion will retain 82 jobs. Country Pure Foods, formerly Ohio Pure Foods, sells juice products to schools, hospitals and large institutions.
