Laverton Cold Storage will more than double the size of its refrigerated warehouse in Melbourne.

The 70,181 ft² (6,520 m²) expansion, which is scheduled for completion in November, will take the total size of the temperature-controlled warehouse and blast freezer building to more than 129167 ft² (12,000 m²).

The company stores meat products and pharmaceuticals at the facility. Solar power will be utilized to reduce Laverton Cold Storage’s operating costs.
