Portland-based Henningsen Cold Storage will invest $30 million to build a cold storage facility in Grandview, Wash.

Henningsen Cold Storage, which paid $1.3 million for approximately 26 acres, will build a 142,000 ft² warehouse in the first phase of a three-phase construction project. The facility will provide the region’s food processors with an additional cold storage hub.

The company operates more than 53 million ft³ of refrigerated space in distribution centers in Oregon, Idaho and Washington.
