Automatic Self-Cleaning Filter for Difficult-to-Treat Waters
With a stainless steel housing, Model S1000 is designed to remove ultra-high and variable total suspended solids (TSS) from difficult-to-treat fluids in industrial process and wastewater treatment applications. Typical uses include filtration of industrial and beverage products to remove suspended solids or recover high-value solids from process streams as well as bulk solids removal from food and beverage streams where suspended solids reduction is required for discharge or reuse. The filter also can provide equipment protection and remove suspended solids in process water that would foul or destroy industrial process equipment to provide nozzle and heat exchanger protection. With a maximum flow rate of 250 gal/min (1360 m3/day), the filter can operate at pressures up to 150 psi (10.3 bar) at 70°F, and at higher temperatures up to 220°F (105°C). Multiple filters can be set up in parallel for higher flows.
