A soft-starter for three-phase induction AC motors, the RSGD needs only three settings. The self-learning algorithm adjusts the soft starter parameters to work with varying load conditions. It is active at every start to ensure that the motor always starts with the optimal settings. New current balancing algorithm keeps the current unbalance to less than 15 percent. The line includes an option for Class 10 electronic overload. Phase-sequence protection can be enabled and disabled through the use of an integrated pushbutton. Torque controlled ramp-down provides smooth deceleration of motors. Features include operational current 12 to 45 A; up to 40 hp rating; and operational voltage capacity of 220 to 600 VAC.
