Wiegmann Associates completed design/build refrigeration work at a new Quality Custom Distribution refrigerated warehouse in Apopka, Fla. The project included energy-efficient refrigeration systems for 81,000 ft² of cold dock, cooler, meat cooler, tomato room and freezer spaces. Wiegmann engineered the refrigeration systems and added automation controls on the evaporators and rooftop condenser units to help save energy costs.

The project also included HVAC systems for 14,450 ft² of office areas and 87,000 ft² of warehouse space. A division of Golden State Foods, Quality Custom Distribution provides custom distribution services to customers throughout the United States.
