Interstate Warehousing Inc. selected Anderson, Ind., as the site of its newest cold storage warehouse facility. Phase I of the project will be a 250,000 ft2 facility built by Tippmann Construction. Site work is underway.
The $20 million project is expected to create approximately 60 jobs after the building is completed in the third quarter of 2018. The facility will be a multi-temperature storage warehouse with approximately 30,000 pallet positions. Interstate Warehousing, a Tippmann Group company, owns and operates two other cold storage facilities in the Indianapolis area.
