Designed for counterflow tower applications, Model CL80 offers good splash-out performance compared to industry-standard louver designs and restricts the amount of sunlight into the tower, says the manufacturer. It is available in individual modules or framed panels at both 3.2 and 2.5” (81.3 and 63.2 mm) depths. Features include reduced splash-out at low pressure drop; a nesting-modules design to prevent air and water bypass; a refined flute geometry that allows less light to penetrate the tower and inhibits algae growth; and a rib design that locks sheets together and blocks air and water bypass. It is made from rigid, UV-protected PVC that meets CTI STD-136.
