A 165,000 ft² cold storage addition will allow Cheney Brothers Inc., Statesville, N.C., to expand its refrigeration capabilities. Integrated design-build firm A M King is handling the large-scale expansion project for distribution center. The project, which is estimated to create more than 100 full-time jobs, is scheduled to be completed by September 30.

The addition will incorporate a penthouse refrigeration system zoned to support numerous interior temperature zones. Cheney Brothers is a Florida-based food distributor.
