Almac Group, a global contract pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organization, opened a 95,000 ft² custom-built cold storage facility at its headquarters in Northern Ireland.

The facility offers more than 3,000 pallet spaces, including 5 to -13°F (-15 to -25°C) storage capacity and additional 35 to 46°F (2 to 8°C) secondary production rooms. Supplementary office space has also been included to accommodate an additional 100 new employees who will be hired as a result of the expansion.

The cold storage facility will help Almac ensure efficient delivery of clinical supplies and commercial drug products.
