Fan Provides High Pressure Capability at Low Speeds
Multi-Wing’s M-Series axial fans have high pressure capability at low speeds resulting in low noise levels in most compact heat exchangers. Features include one-piece injection-molded fan of engineered thermoplastic materials, a broad paddle-shaped profile and three standard pitch angles of 30°, 35° and 40°. The fan has fan fixed-pitch, positively set fan blades. Other features include one-piece aluminum-alloy boss, which is available in a range of bore/fixing configurations. It is also available in a version accommodating a range of thermoplastic taper-lock bushings. It is only available in a configuration where the fan blades rotate in a clockwise direction when facing the airstream.

Flexible Fan Packs
A range of customizable axial fan packs, SmartPack is engineered to meet low noise and efficiency requirements in industrial refrigeration and heat exchange applications. The custom fan packages include a metal frame with a plastic skin; custom-configured Multi-Wing fan; an AC or EC motor; and protective fan guard. The packages are offered in ~22.05, 24.80, 27.95, 31.50 and 35.43” width (560, 630, 710, 800 and 900 mm) diameters. The AC fan package meets strict industrial requirements and is available worldwide. The EC version achieves and maintains the highest possible efficiency levels within a wide operating range, including temperatures of -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C).

BLEX blade extensions are made from a durable nylon textile. The flexible fabric is designed to adapt the fan diameter to the contour of the shroud, thereby reducing the clearance to ZeroTip. The extra-wide chord-width curved blades allow for smooth airflow with minimum air separation and turbulence. Constant-Pressure, Constant-Airflow Blowers
Constant pressure and constant airflow blowers automatically adjust to maintain optimum performance levels in changing conditions. The 180x180L EC double-inlet models are CE-approved and meet ErP 2015 efficiency requirements. The forward-curved centrifugal blowers, designated the GDSV8 Series, are powered by 230 V single-phase, 50/60 Hz EC motors. They run at speeds as high as 2255 rpm and generate a maximum airflow of more than 1000 cfm at free air. Speed control is possible through pulse-width modulation, 0 to 10 VDC, or a potentiometer.
