Line of 2- to 30-ton variable-speed, water-cooled chillers maintain precise temperatures by circulating water through a refrigerant-cooled heat exchanger (evaporator), which expels the excess heat to a water-cooled condenser. The water-cooled chiller can be piped to a city water source or cooling tower water supply. It uses a modulating control valve to manage condenser heat removal. Features include a stainless steel, copper brazed plate evaporator to minimize maintenance requirements and nonferrous chilled water piping.
