Josh Evans was promoted to engineering manager for Continental Fan, Dayton, Ohio. According to Jud Alexander, executive vice president at Continental Fan, prior to his promotion, Evans has developed product designs and new analytical tools for the company. Evans also is credited with improvements to the engineering and quality processes.
Temperature and flow control equipment provider Endress+Hauser, Greenwood, Ind., inked partnerships three automation companies. The companies will collaborate to help drive the “digital oilfield” in the oil-and-gas industry. Each company will contribute focused areas of expertise: Endress+Hauser will provide smart field instruments and digital communication expertise; Angus Measurement Services will provide systems fabrication and technology consultants help optimize the performance of gas, oil and water assets; TechnipFMC will provide oil-and-gas measurement technology; and Vector Controls and Automation Group will provide expertise in gas analytics, measurement and control.
Snehal Desai, former global business director of the Dow Water & Process Solutions business, joined Evoqua as Pittsburgh-based Evoqua Water Technologies as chief growth officer, a newly created position. Also, Evoqua named Jim Kohosek as executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
ASHRAE redesigned its website, ashrae.org, to incorporate a device-responsive layout to support viewing on smartphones, tablets and desktop/laptop computers. Features include simplified navigation through mega-menus and an augmented search function that includes relevant results from other ASHRAE sites such as its bookstore, eLearning platform and technology portal.
Fairfield, N.J.-based Foremost Machine Builders Inc. appointed Walter Folkl as manager of sales for the plastics auxiliary equipment supplier.
