Stellar designed and built a bean processing facility for Faribault Foods’ expanded campus in Faribault, Minn. The 635,000 ft² facility opened in September 2017.

The $100 million expansion centralized all operations at one site. The newly constructed building includes: bean processing and packaging area; dry ingredients and packaging materials storage areas; finished good storage; parts and maintenance area; pilot plant; corporate offices; and cafeteria. Stellar also provided a range of process engineering services, including automation design for the process line.

According to Faribault Foods, the new facility has allowed it to move to efficient and high speed manufacturing.
