A cooling tunnel manufactured by International Thermal Systems was designed to cool cast iron and enamel without cracking the enamel. The air-management system in the cooler allows for higher air velocity to be delivered to the cast iron to achieve shorter cooling times.

The cooling tunnel, which was shipped to a company in the United States, will be part of a new curing oven manufactured by another company. The 36’ long unit has a dwell time of 42 minutes and cools product from 1350 to 120°F (732 to 50°C).
