Stellar received a Design Excellence Award from the Jacksonville Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for the Product Technology & Development Center it designed and built for Nestle USA in Solon, Ohio.

The three-story, 144,000 ft² research and development facility includes a 34,346 ft² pilot plant with a process line for testing mass-produced recipes; a research laboratory; office, consumer and culinary space; and a 16,440 ft² professional kitchen.

The facility was planned, designed and constructed by Stellar, a fully integrated design-build firm. It was completed in August 2015.
