The 8^th International Conference on Ammonia and CO₂ Refrigeration Technologies will be held April 11-13 in Ohrid, Macedonia. Topics will include: the design of modern ammonia and CO₂ systems and technological innovations; improving energy efficiency; technical guidelines; and safety regulations.

According to conference organizer the International Institute of Refrigeration, the global trend toward using natural refrigerants is intensifying. There are very positive signals in Europe and some parts of the world where expanding use of ammonia, carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons in various applications is occurring. This event hopes to make it clear that by using more ammonia and CO₂ refrigerants, we are employing environmentally friendly technologies.
