Multistack Acquires Budzar Industries

Multistack LLC, a privately held manufacturer of cooling, heating and energy-recovery systems, has acquired Budzar Industries, Willoughby, Ohio. Budzar manufactures custom temperature control and pumping systems for the rubber, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.

According to the Sparta, Wis.-based company, Multistack will operate Budzar as a wholly owned subsidiary. The companies will maintain separate headquarters, engineering and manufacturing facilities, and executive teams of the two companies will remain intact.

Charles Kenyon, CEO of Multistack, said, “We are thrilled to have Budzar join us as we continue with our long-term plan of growth. Budzar, like Desert Aire (acquired January 2017) and Standard Refrigeration (acquired October 2017) fits well within that growth plan. Multistack employs more than 170 people at its Wisconsin facilities, where the company manufactures cooling and heating solutions under the brand names of Multistack, Airstack, MultiPro and MagLev.
